PROGRAM & GENERAL QUESTIONS

When and where will the Conference be held?

The 2024 NJASLA Annual Meeting will be held at Harrah’s Conference Center in Atlantic City, NJ from Sunday, January 28 through Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

Will there be a virtual or on-demand component to the Conference?

The 2024 NJASLA Annual Meeting will be a fully in-person event!

What is the Conference’s health and safety policy?

NJASLA will follow protocols mandated for large gatherings by the State of New Jersey, Harrah’s, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Currently, masks are not required, but individuals are welcome to wear masks if they wish. Should precautions be required as the event dates grow closer, we will notify registrants.

I am a presenter/speaker at the Conference. What should I do?

Our Conference team will be in touch with you directly to coordinate the details of your participation. If you have not received an email from our events team, please email smcfarland@njpsi.com.

How do I get a refund?

In the unfortunate case that you need to cancel your registration, requests for refunds must be received in writing no later than December 18th and must be approved by the Committee for reasonable cause. A non-refundable administrative fee of 10 percent will be deducted from the refund amount. No refunds can be given after the stipulated date.

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs)

Reporting CEUs from the Conference?

NJASLA will file post conference attendance reports with LACES and CLARB on behalf of everyone who registers and includes their CLARB membership number, has their name tag scanned at the entrance to each session, attends the educational sessions for the full time of the program and fills out the survey for each session online as directed. A quiz is not required for LIVE attendance at Harrah’s Conference Center.

For this Conference only, NYSED has indicated they will waive the requirement for a separate certificate of completion for each session and they will accept the NJASLA transcript as proof of attendance at any NY approved sessions that you take. Future years will be determined upon request and approval.

How do I report AICP?

Individuals seeking AICP credits should consult the accreditation chart, scan-in at the outset of each AICP approved session, attend the full session and self-file via an AICP-supplied link following the event.
